The extra cost of Win7 on a netbook will deter most from buying.  With the Acer Aspire One as an example, XP Home alone adds $50.
I can only imagine what this brand spanking old OS will add.  I project $100 or more.  This totally goes against the idea of buying a cheap netbook to surf the web, check e-mail, and perform mundane office jobs while on the go.

The reason I say brand spanking old is my biggest question.  Did MS finally get rid of the lousy registry in Win7?  Something that was promised and reneged in Vista.

Time and past experience will tell.</description>
